Deleece

Last weekend my husband and I went out for a very last minute dinner to Deleece, the new restaurant down the street.  The ambiance is urban and friendly and the wine and food are delicious.  They serve brunch, lunch and dinner and are open seven days a week.

For those of you who live in or will be visiting Chicago, Deleece will not disappoint (and neither will their salmon!!).

Bow Belt

This adjustable belt would look nice over a cardigan, dress or blouse.  This is a great accessory that would update any look in all seasons (I bought it in tan but that color is only available in the store).

New Laura Mercier Products

I got a few new LM products (for those of you who don’t know, that is my favorite line of cosmetics):

Foundation Primer-Radiance~This can be used as a primer and (if you have a fair-medium skin tone) as a very sheer foundation.  It gives a nice dewey and light look.

Secret Camouflage~I have used a lot of concealers and I love LM products, but had never tried her product until a few weeks ago, and now I’m hooked.  It comes with two colors, one more suitable for under eye and the other as blemish cover-ups.  It goes on smooth and stays that way throughout the day.

Lip Stain~I got the Shy Pink–it’s a nice subtle shade that stays on, can’t wait to get more colors!

REI Sale

I went to the REI Winter Clearance today and found a few things for Chloe for next winter (but they had plenty of everything else too: ski/snowboard gear, clothing, footwear, outerwear, travel gear, etc.):

REI Snowy Creek Suit-Infant Girls’ $11.83 (from $42.50, 72% off!!!)

REI Down Vest-Toddler Girls’ $14.83 (from $49.50, 70% off!!!)

ShoeMint

I have seen ads for ShoeMint and finally logged onto the site and to take a look at their collection.  I need to learn more, but it looks like members get access to personalized collections each month, insider trends and style tips to help you match shoes with outfits as well as up to 80% off retail with free shipping on each order (both ways, if necessary).  Here is one of my matches:

Diapers have arrived!

Last week I posted about Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company and I was excited to try out the free trial of diapers, wipes and household cleaners.  I have received them and we are sold, cannot wait to order more!!  Look at these adorable patterns (note, before ordering you can specify if you are shopping for a baby girl or baby boy so they send you the appropriate patterns):
